Christopher Peters, MBA, CFE, CIDA, MAFF is a partner of GPS Consultants, LLC which is a management consulting and forensic accounting firm focused on assisting clients with improving operations and solving organizational problems through forensic accounting, litigation support, and data analysis. At GPS, Peters has assisted organizations ranging from Inspector General Offices to Fortune 15 publicly traded companies.
Peters has testified as an expert witness in the field of forensic accounting in a FINRA Arbitration Hearing and in cases in civil and criminal court in the 18th, 19th, and 23rd Judicial District Courts in Louisiana. Peters co-authored the Wolters Kluwer Commerce Clearing House (CCH) text book titled Case Studies in Forensic Accounting and Fraud Auditing which is used by universities across the United States. Peters was a Chief Financial Officer for a regional commercial door distributor and a national residential window dealer. As a CFO, Peters' spearheaded system implementations along with process standardization to facilitate significant growth. As a CFO, Peters focused on improving the companies' existing operations; and spearheaded the companies' expansion into new markets. Over the course of Peters’ career, he recognized that one of the keys to business growth and sustainability is the ability to standardize business processes that can be replicated in new divisions and new branches; and the ability to capture and analyze key financial and business information for management decision making purposes. Peters founded GPS Consultants to focus on helping clients improve these activities that also help management identify and eliminate inefficiencies, fraud, and waste. Kimberly Peters, CPA, CFF
Kimberly Peters, CPA, CFF is a partner of GPS Consultants, LLC and has managed key litigation support engagements in the field of forensic accounting including civil and criminal suits and over 40 divorce matters. Kimberly is an Accounting Instructor for Louisiana State University where she teaches undergraduate and graduate level courses in Financial Accounting and Forensic Accounting & Fraud Auditing.
